Load provision
Bracket rigidity
As a rule, brackets should be designed to be as rigid and simple as possible. The designs should be selected in such a way that they are as statically determined as possible and suitable for the load transfer of all load cases.
Construction
The design should be composed of MSH profiles (decontaminability) and standard parts. Decisive for the design are:
- Design-determining load cases (load variables)
- Interference edges in the area of the pipeline and
- Possibilities of connection to the building structure
Pipe clamps that transfer loads to the pipe via friction - so-called pipe chokes - should be avoided. If possible, pipe cams should be provided instead. Depending on the local conditions, standardized anchor plates should be used for the building connection.
Calculation
The calculation is based on the currently valid regulations such as KTA3205 and DIN18800.
The calculation of a pipe support includes the strength verification of these elements:
- Steel profiles
- series parts
- Weld seams and
- Structural anchoring (dowels)
Simple FE calculation programs (framework programs) are generally used for the verification of the structural steel sections. Series parts and weld seams are verified according to the nominal stress concept. The anchor verification is also carried out according to the nominal stress concept using special calculation methods (CC method / ETAG).
